Three Qualities

As perfect as a rose flower on a fine morning. Like a cool breeze that touches the skin. Like a bird singing sweetly on a tall tree. Ms. Felishiela M. Toledo, our ICT teacher, is truly one of God’s remarkable creations.  A woman of great wisdom and knowledge, she knows and possesses the true essence of responsible and effective teaching.

Ma’am Shiela is a great teacher. Throughout her many years of service, she has molded young students into intelligent, globally competitive, and God-fearing citizens. Never has she failed to give her students the education they need. As a matter of fact, she even gives us more than what is expected from her teaching duties. It is from her that I learned how to use the computer and how to use applications like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint. I learned a lot from her. Indeed, Ma’am Shiela is a gift to her students.

Not only is Ma’am Shiela an excellent teacher, she is also our mother in Agusan NHS. She gives us lessons not only in ICT but in life as well. She gives us advice and guidance. She is very understanding, loving, and caring.

She is an approachable friend. When you’re completely lost in the dark, she is the light that will brighten up your way. And during the unbearable downs of your life, she’ll lift you up until you get back on your feet again. Ma’am Shiela is the kind of friend who’s always behind you to assist you when you stumble. She has given “friendship” a whole new meaning and by example she has taught us how to be a better friend to others.

A teacher, a mother, and a friend. Three qualities that make Ma’am Shiela shine. Three qualities that complete my day as a student.
