RULES for the KWENTO MO BRO Contest!

The Kwento Mo BRO! contest (herein referred to as the “Contest”) wherein Smart Broadband, Inc. (herein referred to as “SBI”) shall award prizes to active Smart BRO subscribers (herein referred to as the “Subscriber”) who submits the best Smart BRO story for the Contest. The Contest shall be governed by the following Rules, including any amendment, are also available at the website www.smart.com.ph/smartbro.

1. The Contest will start on March 15, 2008 and ends December 31, 2008.

2. The deadline of submission of entries is the last day of each month. The names of the monthly winners will be posted at the webpage (http://smart.com.ph/SmartBro/Subscriber/KwentoMoBRO.htm) on the 15th day of the month.

3. The Contest is open to Smart BRO Plan 999 (and higher) residential subscribers. Subscribers enrolled under the lower plans may join by upgrading to Smart BRO Plan 999 or higher. Plan migration should be in effect before the deadline of submission of entries to be eligible to join.

4. Subscriber must send his/her entry via email with his full name and Service Reference Number to kwentomobro@smartbro.net. Only entries where the full names and the Service Reference Numbers match those in SBI’s records will be qualified.

5. The sender should be the account owner as per SBI’s records otherwise his/her entry will be disqualified.

6. Entries should only be in English, Taglish or Tagalog and can cover any topic with Smart BRO as a central theme and must be within 200 words or less.

7. Every month, SBI will award one (1) Best Letter of the Month who will get the prize-of-the-month, and three (3) winners of the consolation prizes. Prizes are non-convertible to cash.

8. Entries shall be judged on the following criteria:
 - 50% Relevance (Does it talk about Smart BRO?)
 - 40% Delivery of the story (Is the story presented in an entertaining or interesting way?)
 - 10% Composition (grammar, choice of words, etc.)

9. The status of the account must be ACTIVE prior to delivery of the prizes. If the account is inactive, the Subscriber shall be informed to activate his subscription before any delivery is made. Subscriber is given 30-days from date the Subscriber is informed of his inactive status with regard to the Contest to activate the account, otherwise, the prize is forfeited in favor of SBI.

10. Each Service Reference Number may win only once per month. A winner may join several times upon submission of an original entry.

11. The winners’ name and Service Reference Number will be posted at the Smart BRO website along with their winning entry. All winners will be notified via callout.

12. The decision of SBI is final and inappealable.

13. By submitting an entry to the Contest, the Subscriber declares that he/she is the owner of the entry and that he/she has the intellectual property right or license over the entry. He/She assumes full liability in case of claims from third parties of whatever nature, holding SBI free from and indemnifying SBI for such claims. Subscriber also gives SBI full permission to use the said entry/ies for publicity and corporate information purposes in various media such as print, radio, TV, Internet and other multimedia outlets. By participating in the Contest, the Subscriber also warrants that he has agreed to the rules and mechanics of the Contest.
