How can I activate my newly bought SMART Pinoy SIM?
Your SIM can be activated by making an outgoing transaction, which can be any of the ff:
- Voice call
- Reloading/top-up using recharge voucher
- Balance inquiry
- Any SMS and VAS transactions
Note: Incoming transactions like Pasaload, Eload and incoming calls or SMS shall not trigger a change in status
How do I reload my Smart Pinoy SIM?
There are 3 ways to reload airtime value on your Smart Pinoy SIM:
- By purchasing Recharge Voucher in SG$15 denomination.
- By way of electronic loading through SMART Load which are available in SG$5, SG$10 and SG$15 denominations
- By way of Pasaload which are available in SG$1, SG$3 and SG$5 denominations
What is Smart Pinoy Freebies?
Freebies are FREE SMS to Smart Philippines that vary based on the following:
- For SIM Pack purchase, freebies: 20 FREE SMS w/ validity period of 90 days
- For Recharge Vouchers, freebies:10 FREE SMS w/ validity period of 180 days
- For SmartLoad, freebies and validity period is based on load denomination
How do we load the Smart Pinoy recharge voucher?
1. Lightly scratch off the security mark on the card to reveal the 12-digit PIN
2. Dial the special access code 55551 + 12 digit PIN
3. A voice recording will confirm the amount of the top-up card reloaded and the expiry date.
How many reload attempts are allowed in a day?
There is no limit on the number of top-up transactions via voucher or SmartLoad per day. However, a subscriber is only allowed to have 15 invalid attempts to reload voucher pins. On the 16th attempt, the account shall be barred from reloading until the next day.
How are the calls/sms transactions deducted from my available balance?
- Local calls: inbound and outbound calls are deducted from airtime balance. Tariff is based on the termination of calls.
- Incoming international calls: local intra-airtime rates is charged to the airtime balance.
- Local / International SMS: outbound SMS are deducted from airtime balance. Tariff is based on the termination of calls.
- VAS: mostly mobile terminating charging
- Charging applies first to expire, first to use rule
What is Smart Pinoy Pasaload?
This is the first subscriber-to-subscriber load transfer service from Smart Pinoy. Now, you can pass on load amounting to SG$ 1, SG$ 3 and SG$ 5 to your friends and loved ones.
What are the charges for this service?
There will be a charge of SG$0.05 per message sent on top of the Pasaload denomination. If you passed on a SG$3 load, your total deduction shall be SG$ 3.05 (SG$ 3 denomination + SG$ 0.05 SMS fee) from your existing airtime balance.
How do we transfer load via Pasaload?
To perform Pasaload, user will send the following as a text message to access code 55561
Syntax: <Smart Pinoy mobile number of recipient> space <denomination> send to 55561
Will the recipient be charged of SG$ 0.05 as well?
There will be no applicable charges for the recipient. Only the sender shall be charged
How many times can I do Pasaload?
You may be able to transfer as often as you want as long as you have a minimum balance of SG$1.55 on your account.
Important:
- SG$ 1.55 is represented as: SG$ 1 (for the Smart Pinoy Pasaload denomination), SG$0.50 (for the threshold) and SG$0.05 (for the Smart Pinoy PasaLoad fee).
- If there is no denomination is indicated after a Pasaload, the lowest denomination shall be the default amount to be transferred.
What is the expiry of Pasaload denominations?
All Smart Pinoy Pasaload denominations have corresponding validity periods. If the recipient has an existing load, the expiry of the remaining load shall not change.
Expiry of Pasaload denominations: SG$1 = 5 day, SG$3 = 10 days, SG$5 = 15 days
If I receive a number of Pasaload denominations within the day, what will be my load expiry?
Regardless of how many Pasaload denominations are received in one (1) day, the defined validity period for each denomination applies. First to expire, first to use rule applies.
Can I transfer the same Smart Pinoy Pasaload denomination given to me to other Smart Pinoy subscribers?
Yes, you may be able to pass on the Smart Pinoy Pasaload denomination received to another Smart Pinoy subscriber given you have enough balance.
What if the Smart Pinoy Pasaload denomination was erroneously sent to the wrong recipient (but still a Smart Pinoy subscriber)? Can the load denomination be credited back top sender?
For any successful Smart Pinoy Pasaload transaction to another Smart Pinoy subscriber (regardless if it was the intended recipient or not), this could not anymore be credited back to the sender.
What will happen if the transfer was erroneously sent to a non-Smart Pinoy subscriber?
The transaction will not successfully push through and sender will not be debited of any amount.
How will the confirmation be if the Smart Pinoy Pasaload transaction was successful?
All confirmation of a successful transaction shall be via SMS.

If the sender’s last top-up is any of the Smart Pinoy load denominations, the Load Balance will be the number of available calls in minutes and number of available intra-SMS.

SGD 3.00 to XXXXXXXXXXX. You have a minimum of 16 minutes worth of local calls or 16 available intra-SMS.
If I have an existing balance from the Recharge Voucher which I loaded on March 28 and I Recharge SG$5 on April 02 at 11PM, what will I receive when I do a balance inquiry?
You will receive a message stating your consumable balance, including free SMS to SMART/TNT. The remaining dollar balance of the recharge voucher you loaded on March28 will be added to the contents of the Smartload value loaded on April 02.
In case no text confirmation was received, how will the sender and recipient know that the transfer was successful?
To find out if the load transfer was successful, balance inquiry may be done thru SMS by calling 55554 or via the Smart Pinoy Load Balance Menu. These are all free of charge.
How else can a subscriber inquire about the service?
Subscribers can call 62139907 (via landline) or 55553 (toll-free via Smart Pinoy mobile phone) or via the Smart Pinoy menu (select LIVE ASSIST or TEXT ASSIST).

The Call and Text value of the prepaid card will be added to the remaining value of your Smart Pinoy SMARTLoad package.
Why does the SG$5 load have a 7-day load validity period only?
The Smart Pinoy SMARTLoad packages have been customized to suit the usage behavior of our current prepaid customers, who send an average of 10 text messages per day. As such, the load expiry of the packages ensures that by the time the load expires, a typical prepaid customer has already consumed the package he recharged into his prepaid celfone account.
If I recharged SG$5 & SG$10 on the same day, will both load packages expire on the same day?
SG$5 will expire first since it has a shorter expiry period of 15 days, followed by the SG$10, which will expire in 30 days from the loading date.
What should be the existing “balances” of Smartload SIM pack?
- Account Balance – used for call, messaging, and VAS usages
- Load Wallet Balance in Singaporean dollars – used for transferring airtime in Singaporean dollar value to another load wallet or reloading airtime to prepaid account
- Load Wallet Balance in Philippine peso – used for transferring airtime to prepaid account
What is the validity period of load wallet balance?
Load wallet or OMW account balance of retailers has NO EXPIRATION.
How much will I be charged if I do load wallet inquiry?
Load wallet inquiry shall be made through SIM menu and shall NOT be CHARGED.
I am interested to become a SmartLoad retailer. How and where can I apply?
All Smart Pinoy subscribers can become a retailer. All they have to do is visit the SMART Pinoy business center or our accredited dealers.
