Smart Pinoy holds job fair in Cavite

[June 18, 2008/ Manila] - Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART) recently held the Smart Pinoy Jobs and Fun Fair in Kawit, Cavite to coincide with the Province’s celebration of the 110th declaration of Philippine Independence.

Smart, through its Smart Pinoy Services, worked with the Public Employment Service Office of the various towns and cities of Cavite and CALABARZON, the Department of Labor and Employment, and the Tourism Office of the Province of Cavite to offer local and overseas employment opportunities during Kawit’s first mega-jobs fair.
Participants of the job fair and residents who flocked to Freedom Park during the Independence Day celebration were also treated to fun and entertainment. Comic talents Cookie and Tita Belly hosted the Wow Magic Sing videoke contest, while stand-up comic artist Joy Viado and sexy actress Jen Rosendahl livened up the Smart Pinoy Bingo Bonanza.
Lucky winners brought home premium items, mobile phones, P10,000 worth of groceries for the sari-sari showcase, a Smart Money card with P10,000 load and a Smart Retailer SIM with P10,000 load for the Pangkabuhayan showcase.
The Smart Pinoy Jobs and Fun Fair in Kawit, Cavite was the last of seven that SMART conducted nationwide for aspiring OFWs and families of Filipinos working abroad. SMART also held the Smart Pinoy Job and Fun Fair in Angeles City, Davao City, Iloilo City, La Union, Batangas City and Laoag City. @
