Smart garners 10 citations at 2007 Philippine Quill Awards

[November 15, 2007/ Manila] - Leading wireless services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART) bagged 10 awards at the 2007 Philippine Quill Awards held last November 14 by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)-Philippines at the Mandarin Hotel.
Smart received three Awards of Excellence for its Alagang Suki, Alagang Smart internal campaign on customer service, for its pioneering industry-academe initiative Smart Wireless Engineering Education Program (SWEEP), and for smartschools.ph, the website of the Smart Schools Program, Smart’s project for providing public high schools with Internet connectivity and computer literacy training.
Seven Awards of Merit were also presented to Smart for the Smart Link tv commercial Bakit Maalat ang Dagat; the Smart Link Paperboat ad; Ahoy Pinoy magazine; Smart’s livelihood program for the residents of Smart Amazing GK Village in Quezon, Project Nakar; smartschools.ph – technical; the 3rd SWEEP Innovation and Excellence Awards; and the internal logo standardization campaign, Smart Logo Sentinels.
The Philippine Quill Awards is an annual event that honors the achievements of professional communicators by recognizing excellence in communication.
