Anabelle L. Chua

• Anabelle L. Chua joined PLDT in 1998 as a First Vice President and has been serving as its Treasurer since February 1999 and as a Senior Vice President since February 2002.

Concurrent to being Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Smart, Chua retains her position as Treasurer and Senior Vice President of PLDT with overall responsibility for treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations functions in the Finance group.  

Prior to her joining PLDT, Chua was a vice president at Citibank, where she worked for ten years. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accountancy and topped the October 1982 CPA Board Examinations.
