3 Ways To Access Email On Your Celfone:

Via your phone's Messaging/ Email Application:

  1. In order to use your phone's Email application to send and receive email messages, you need to have an email POP and SMTP account (please check whether your email service provider or ISP supports this), Examples of email services that support this are Gmail, Yahoo!Mail Philippines, Yahoo! Mail Plus.
  2. Go to your phone's Messaging menu and go to your Email Settings.
  3. Define a New Email Account on your phone (i.e. GMail, Yahoo!)
  4. Enter your email service's POP (incoming) and SMTP (outgoing) server setting.
  5. Set your mailbox username and password.
  6. When prompted for a Connection or Access Point, select SMART Internet.

Using Nokia Settings Wizard

(for Nokia S60 3G handset models)

  1. Locate the Nokia Settings Wizard icon on your phone's menu and click on the icon. If you can't find it on your phone, you can download the support from www.nokia.com.ph/support
  2. Select Email then select the Country (Philippines) and the Operator (SMART)
  3. You will see a list of ISP's and Email service Providers (e.g. Infocom, GMail, Yahoo! Mail Philippines, Yahoo! Mail Plus). Select your respective Email service provider.
  4. Follow the next steps prompted. You will be asked to enter your email address, username and password, respectively.
  5. The Settings Wizard with then automatically configure your phone's Messaging application to allow you to send and receive email messages.

Via the SMART WAP site:

  1. Go to the SMART WAP site at http://wap.smart.com.ph
  2. Click on Mail from the menu.
  3. Click on Yahoo!Mail, Hotmail, or GMail to access your respective email service.
  4. Simply log-in using your current username and password. If you don't have an existing email account, you can also create your own new account with any of the free email services.

Wherever you are, with SMART Buddy's 3G High Speed Internet, you can access your Yahoo!Mail, GMail, Hotmail or even ISP Email on your celfone.
